Britain needed brave men, willing to venture out into the unknown and she needed good boats to take them there. I've spent my life at sea. Now I'm going to take passage on six boats that together, tell the story of modern Britain. Built for exploration, war, fishing, industry and our very survival. 讲的很不错，但是对于讲述的船的类型兴趣不大，只有一艘是战船，还是属于略屌丝级别的战船···
课堂上看的，实在是对船没兴趣啊
短小精悍，每集才半小时。选取的是英国历史上不太有名却意义深远的船只，生活和平凡气息浓重，但不容忽视，想要全面了解不同功能的话，这部片子还算受益良多。

英国佬不愧是海洋民族，船玩得溜，才是真的靠海为生为了掠夺去探险为了霸权去征战为了生意去远航为了食物去捕鱼对大海简值像对他老妈一样熟悉、亲热有多少船型是英国佬搞出来的？引航员的竞争都这么激烈？！人家真是以海为防
这个纪录片真的很不错~主题相当个性，除了讲述每种船在英国历史上的作用，而且可以当航海的初级教程了~老爷子每集都会讲一种船，对于我这样的《大航海时代》迷，真是不可多得的纪录片~aaaaa又想玩《大航海时代》了`
